WHAT WE DID ON OUR HOLIDAY What We Did on Our Holiday (2014) is a British comedy-drama directed by Andy Hamilton and Guy Jenkin. The film stars David Tennant and Rosamund Pike. Doug McLeod, his wife Abi and their three children set off for the Scottish Highlands to celebrate Doug's father's 75th birthday. In order not to spoil the holiday, Doug and Abi pretend to be a happy couple until it becomes obvious that they are having serious problems. The children soon reveal that their parents have decided to divorce. The kids do not want this to happen and try hard to repair their parents' damaged relationship..
